This morning as a class we were greeted by a student from the Fashion course who showcased his project irrespective of further development which is where we all had to help create a space suitable to the clients brief. We were put in the groups and asked to design a functional space which could accommodate for activities such as music, food, relaxing, socialising and shopping. We were provided with sketches, colour pallets and a description of the user and were able to design a brilliant idea.
As a group we decided it would be best to split responsibilities, and I was given the task to find suitable images for the user, and create a persona.
The task was very engaging and far from boring. As a class we all expressed our interests to continue working on the project.
Over all it was a very enjoyable day.
Towards the afternoon I wanted to make a start on my CV so I spent time brain storming and looking into different templates and I was able to find one. However the issue was that the template was very weak and required a lot of graphic editing, the colours, images and sizing needed to be modified. Yes it was time consuming however the outcome would be of high quality. I found the font to be quite soft but formal and the colour scheme was representative of me, calm and humble. Also the cross hatched boarder was a nice way to represent a fabric like weave/ texture as I'm very passionate about wanting to go in to the fashion industry too.
I plan to complete this task by Friday and receive feedback for further improvements.
