Week 21 Friday

Today was a very busy day with many lectures and new ideas. By the end of the day I had more direction and I was very clear on what was expected.

As a class we received back to back lectures from our other lecturer (Lecturer B) where he went to his personal practices, interests and previous projects. It was really interesting and informative. It made me feel more hopeful and it boosted my confidence.

In regards to the brief for the project each stage was explained in more depth, everything was 100% clear and I had a sense of direction.

The evening was also interesting as I had the chance to look in to the sub categories of interior design and see what I would hope to go into as well as have a more clear idea of what I want to go into.

The sub-categories were explained in great depth and what is required of them and I was able to narrow down my section to; The art of production, empowerment, style, diversity in design and the art of prediction.

I hope to combine Interior Design and Fashion within a business and hopefully find a successful route/ dissertation topic to further express my interests.

I also spent the evening modifying my CV and Cover letter as I was aware the CV must be 2 pages. I needed to shorten my pages to 2 and keep the information short and informative.
