The university had set a week to allow all studnets to attend different courses as taster days as well as attend classes for general knowledge. I had booked a " How to lad your dream job in 5 years" class in advance and I attended this for the full day. To begin with I really understood how difficult it is to be a good lecturer. it is not easy to keep people engaged especially for 6 hours straight. The knowledge I gained was very valuable and I felt like I had more direction.

I was able to get a 1 to 1 with Jenifer who was presenting the lecturer. she explained to me how it is important to have a plan of what is "ideal" to me. I was able to conclude my ideal like to be either having my own business since fashion and interior in one job role is hard to find, so id rather establish it my self, or id like to have a full time job which brings me income and stability, and this will give me time to focus on a family and my passion for sewing.

I really understood that the perfect life does not exist and happiness from a successful job comes from short outburst of events. happiness is never continuous as life is very unpredictable.

Overall it was a very helpful and eye opening lecture which gave me more stability as an individual and made me feel much less lost.
