Today I attended a morning lecture on the things to expect at internships. It was very helpful and engaging. I was able to understand the different outcomes of internships and how to approach them.

I later had the chance to work on my personal identity, Logo, business and business card. After hours of brainstorming and sketching, I was able to narrow down my options. For my own representation, my identity would have to be A.K Interiors however, as I am interested in starting up a small business I wanted to try something new. I liked the Name "Guebux". The font of the letters are very smooth, and the "X" is dominant. the meaning behind the word is my grandfathers name. I come from a family of architects and wood work so I would like to carry it on. Gurbux is a unique word, it raises curiosity and holds meaning.

During the evening I attended a lecture which helped with writing a c.v, things to avoid, networking and business opportunities. It was extremely helpful as I aspire to open up a business and this lecture gave me an insight to the resources available. It made me realise the university is very supportive of start up businesses.
